NFR Kochi International Film Festival Announces Final Extension for Submissions: Last Opportunity for Filmmakers

Kochi, Kerala: The NFR Kochi International Film Festival is pleased to announce a final extension for submissions to the NFR Global Academy Awards, now accepting entries until September 5, 2024. This extension comes in response to the enthusiasm demonstrated by filmmakers worldwide.

“We have been overwhelmed by the remarkable films submitted so far. This extension ensures that all deserving filmmakers have the chance to participate in this prestigious event,” said Festival Executive Director Leo Thaddeus.

The NFR Global Academy Awards recognise outstanding achievements in short films, documentaries, and animation films. With a total prize pool of ₹8,00,000, it offers a unique opportunity to showcase films to an international audience, gain recognition and connect with potential collaborators during exclusive networking events. The film festival jury led by Vetri Maaran consists of national and international figures such as Dominic Sangma, Xu Jianshang, and Jeo Baby, among others.
