Stages of Participation in The NFR Script Pitching Festival
- Submission
Interested participants submit their scripts or ideas for short films, documentaries, or animation films through the NFR Script Pitching Festival registration form. - Evaluation
The submitted scripts or ideas undergo a thorough evaluation by a team of industry professionals for the quality of the script, its production feasibility, and its overall potential. - Grooming Seminar
Selected participants are invited to attend a specialised seminar, where they receive guidance on refining their scripts and enhancing their pitching skills. Industry experts provide valuable insights on script development, pitching techniques, and how to effectively present their projects to potential investors and producers. - The Pitch
During the NFR Kochi International Film Festival’s Grand Summit . Participants pitch their refined scripts to a panel of potential investors and producers from the other stream, the NFR Filmincube. Pitches that find a producer then go on to become concrete productions.
